AEDs near Clevedon Marine Lake

An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. It’s a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, medical device that can analyse the heart’s rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock, or defibrillation, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm.

There are two AEDs located near Clevedon Marine Lake.  Their locations are indicated by the red crosses on the above satellite map.

COASTGUARD STATION

An AED is located on the side wall of the HM Coastguard rescue station, facing the arcade and on the walkway to Elton Road.  The building is on the upper promenade above the splash pool slipway, before the arcade.  Emergency vehicle access to this end of Clevedon Marine Lake is via Elton Road.

SALTHOUSE PUB

An AED is located at the front of The Salthouse Pub, to the right of the front entrance, on the wall facing away from the lake.  The building is off the upper promenade before Poet’s Walk woods, above the children’s playground.  Emergency vehicle access to this end of Clevedon Marine Lake is via Salthouse Road.
