Use these 3 words for a faster emergency response

In an emergency situation 3 words can be used to direct emergency services to either end of Clevedon Marine Lake, sourced from the what3words App:

Pump house @ Poet’s Walk end of the lake = THIRD.ZONE.ANGEL

Slipway @ arcade end of the lake = FAULT.WANTED.WORM

The location linked to each set of ‘3 words’ is indicated by the red crosses on the satellite map above.

The what3words App is being used by South Western Ambulance Service, UK Coastguard, Avon Fire & Rescue and Avon & Somerset Police.

what3words is an App designed to help people communicate an exact location simply, for example to find their tents at festivals, navigate to B&Bs, pinpoint remote spots – and importantly to direct emergency services to the right place. The App assigns each 3m2 in the world a unique 3 word address that will never change. It means you only need three words to find or share any exact location.  More information about the App can be found here.
